Cleaning work in progress

End of tenancy cleaning in Canary Wharf properties

Cleaning a Canary Wharf or E14 property can require more than arranging a time for the cleaners to arrive. Before the booking is confirmed, tell us about key or concierge arrangements, floor level, lift restrictions, parking and equipment access where relevant. These details help us agree the scope and access before the clean.

The standard service may cover:

  • Kitchens
  • Bathrooms
  • Bedrooms and living areas
  • Oven interior, racks and glass
  • Hob and extractor
  • Fridge/freezer when appropriately prepared
  • Emptied cupboards and drawers
  • Removable limescale using surface-appropriate methods
  • Reachable internal glass
  • Doors, skirting and switches
  • Carpet vacuuming
  • Hard-floor vacuuming/mopping

Carpet extraction, upholstery cleaning, balcony cleaning and other specialist extras are separately agreed where offered.

What the photos do — and do not — show

These examples show individual cleaning jobs, not a guaranteed result for every property. Results depend on the starting condition and the material being cleaned. Cleaning can remove normal dirt and removable residue within the booked scope, but it cannot repair physical damage, restore etched surfaces or guarantee removal of permanent staining.

Our Work FAQs

Are the photographs on this page from real WharfReady cleaning jobs?+

The displayed composite photographs have documented owner approval as WharfReady work. The additional oven, sink and tap photographs were supplied by WharfReady as actual work in progress for publication. Separate-stage images whose source or pairing is unresolved are not displayed as job evidence. We use broad location and property information rather than publishing customers' exact addresses or private details.

What is included in an end of tenancy clean?+

The standard clean covers the agreed kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living areas. Oven cleaning and reachable internal windows are included. See the full cleaning checklist for the detailed room-by-room scope and preparation requirements.

Is oven cleaning included?+

Yes. The standard scope includes the oven interior, racks and glass, together with the hob and extractor. Non-standard appliances or additional ovens can require a separately agreed extra.

Can you remove bathroom limescale?+

Removable limescale is cleaned using methods appropriate for the surface. Cleaning cannot restore glass, chrome, silicone or other materials that are permanently etched, stained or damaged.

Is carpet cleaning included?+

Carpet vacuuming is part of the standard clean. Carpet extraction is a separately booked service where offered — see prices.

Are internal windows included?+

Reachable internal glass is included in the standard scope. Exterior window cleaning or inaccessible glazing is not automatically included.

Do the photographs mean my property will get exactly the same result?+

No. Every property starts in a different condition. The photographs show individual real jobs and are intended to demonstrate the type of work carried out, not promise an identical result for every surface or property.

Does professional cleaning guarantee my tenancy deposit will be returned?+

No. WharfReady's cleaning service and re-clean guarantee cover qualifying cleaning work. Deposit decisions can also involve damage, missing items, rent and other matters unrelated to cleaning.

What happens if an agreed cleaning task is missed?+

Report a qualifying missed task to WharfReady on WhatsApp within seven calendar days of the completion notification. If the issue is within the agreed booked scope and qualifies under the guarantee, WharfReady provides one free re-clean of the affected qualifying area.

How should I prepare the property?+

Remove personal belongings and heavy rubbish, leave the booked areas accessible, empty cupboards and drawers that require internal cleaning, and defrost the freezer unless a defrost service has been agreed. Tell us about keys, concierge arrangements, parking and lift restrictions before the booking is confirmed.
